Send customized emails
Customize your message, pipe previous answers, and style the contents of your email.
How to send a custom email
From the home page, click your account name on the lower left corner followed by
Settings
. Click Custom emails followed by + Add respondent email
.
Select the
Email Address
field in the dropdown.
Note: Sending custom emails to respondents is available on the Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans. Learn more about our pricing plans and advanced features here. However, you can send and receive general submission notifications on all plans, including the Free plan.
How to format your email
You can change the style of your email text, as well as pipe answers from your form into the email. Simply highlight the
text
in question and choose from one of the formatting options.
To pipe answers from your form, click
+
or the plus symbol and Insert
any input. You can also insert pipe answers into the Subject of your email!
You can also use calculations to insert dynamic text into your emails.
How to customize the email sender name
Toggle
Show advanced options
. The default sender name is Notifications. You can click this to edit it to your name, company name, and etc.
This is how the email notification will look like from your respondent's end.

You can send a different message to a group of respondents depending on the answers they have provided in the form through conditional logic.
