Learn how refunds and plan changes work for Fillout.

How it works

New customers If you cancel your plan within the first month of a monthly or annual subscription, you may request a full refund, provided your account usage was minimal. Existing customers
If your upgrade after the first month was unintended, please downgrade your plan.
You can request a full refund within 14 days of a charge for upgrades and subscription renewals, as long as there has been no usage or your usage has not exceeded the limits of your previous plan. If a refund is requested after 14 days, it will not be returned to your original payment method and will instead be issued as account credit for future invoices. Final charges Outside the situations described above, or in cases of significant usage, all charges are final. Refunds are not available for downtime, temporary issues, or performance-related concerns.

How plan changes affect billing

You can change or cancel your plan at any time. When you do:
  • Your plan will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle, regardless of whether you have a monthly or annual plan.
  • You will not be charged again unless you choose to upgrade or reactivate your plan.
  • To remove your payment method, contact Fillout support at support@fillout.com.
Please review your billing and renewal settings regularly to avoid unexpected charges. Your billing settings are available in your Billing and usage page.

How auto-upgrade works

If you add a credit card during your Fillout forms trial, your account will automatically upgrade at the end of your trial unless you opt out. You can opt out of the auto-upgrade at any time before the end of the trial, and you will not be charged. Visit the Billing and usage page to Downgrade to the Free plan. Once the trial ends, the account will continue with the option you selected. In some cases:
  • A Fillout form may experience temporary issues.
  • A specific feature you need may not be available.
  • Certain advanced features only be available on higher-tier plans.
While Fillout works to improve the platform and resolve issues quickly, these types of limitations are typically non-refundable.
